I'm pretty sure this is a lupus rash based on other tests. Other than that, my skin is doing ok thanks to Nivea.

I cover up with Clinique anti redness and I would hate to not wear make up.

I'm mid 50s.

Great skin and chiseled features And, especially as you're in your 50s!!!! Wow

No make up apart from liner and mascara. Zit and red face due to stinking cold, I'm 41.

auldfuckingspinster · 07/12/2016 19:37

Might help if I posted a pic.

Auld you look about 22! Your skin is beautiful!!

To be fair you all have lovely skin. Mine is fairly crap and I don't want to be recognised so I'm bowing out thanks!!

Dulcimena · 07/12/2016 23:00

Right. Auld, what do you use on your skin? Completely agree with zippy, you could be 22!Xmas Envy

Yes auld your skin has that lovely dewy look which is really hard to achieve, do you drink lots of water? I use Astral to get that but sometimes it looks a bit sweaty but smells so lovely in a old fashioned way!

auldfuckingspinster · 09/12/2016 08:53

I do drink lots of water but it's largely due to genetics. Don't use anything special, just botanics moisturiser.

Clankboing · 10/12/2016 13:40

I think my skin has looked better since stopped alcohol!

LoreleiGilmorethesecond · 11/12/2016 07:31

Not a fan of hollins eyeliner. First pic it looks wobbly and second it's too thin before the wing and the wing is too long for the thickness.
A cat flick would look so much nicer imo.
Eyebrows are fab though!!

Fuzzypeggy · 11/12/2016 10:09

Have you just come onto this thread to criticise her eyeliner????

ComedyBoobs · 11/12/2016 15:57

lorelei can you post a pic of your eyeliner?

Kateallison16 · 11/12/2016 21:41

There we are.

I do have a big scar on my face that's reddish so excuse that:)
I started using skincare at 12 (nivea visage young) and since then I now use simple, olay, no7, elemis. I'm not picky. I've let my skin go lately and only use micellar and moisturiser Blush

hollinhurst84 · 11/12/2016 22:09

Thanks for your (unasked for) opinion ConfusedHmm
I do eyeliner differently every day and could post a million photos where it looks different (see photos) every time (because I'm not a robot with perfect steady hands)
And also if I'm chucking makeup on like in the first photo to nip out and ride the horse/go to the shop, I'm not really fussed whether it looks wobbly

Hollins eyeliner looks expertly applied to me! Nice of you to bother to offer your opinion though... Grin

ImTakingTheEssence · 11/12/2016 22:31

Hollins what do you do to get that glowing look?? I have pale skin and always look so washed out what's your secretGrin

hollinhurst84 · 11/12/2016 22:32

Vast amounts of highlighter and use NIOD photography fluid under my foundation. Oh and a pink toned blush. Trickery Wink

ImTakingTheEssence · 11/12/2016 22:35

Well it's very clever, keep up the good work! I think I need some new makeup Blush

braceybracegirl · 11/12/2016 22:38

Nicecupofteandasitdown what foundation do you use? It's looks amazing.

braceybracegirl · 11/12/2016 22:39

Photography fluid? I'm intrigued!!! Not posting only cos want to remain anonymous. My skin looks crap with and without foundation!

hollinhurst84 · 11/12/2016 22:44

This is it, just gives a glow

Others were commenting with more positive comments, why didn't you tell them you didn't want their opinions?
If you put your picture up then you are inviting opinion, and those opinions may not all be ones you wish to hear.
