Vaguely funky but incredibly comfortable boots - do they exist?

I've got some sort of tendon or heel damage which is worse if I've worn flats with a hard sole all day. I don't really do heels, can't go to work in trainers and none of my flat boots don't hurt after a day's wear.

I'd like something biker or Chelsea or similar style - nice with skinny jeans or trousers. And bouncy soles! Do such things exist?

I just bought some Fly London calf length boots and I have my eye on their Chelsea boots too.

Doc Martens? Not their lace up boots but their chelseas? They have the air sole so are super very comfortable. I have some knee high ones that I bought this year and they're a real blessing for my dodgy feet.

SantasPantsalive · 03/12/2016 19:43

I'm not sure what styles they have at the moment but the Fitflop boots I had were incredibly comfortable

DailyMailSucksAss · 03/12/2016 19:45

Timberland and Clark's are both pretty good for flat dressy boots right now

I just bought Ugg Tisdale boots and they are the most amazing shoes I've ever owned!! Just traipsed around London all day and my feet are as fresh as this morning! Ever so slight lift heel. Lovely

I love camel active. I can get a supportive gel insole into them, too.

Merrell are also worth a look.

HeCantBeSerious · 03/12/2016 19:49

Love my Clarks Volara Melody boots.

teawamutu · 03/12/2016 20:13

I'd forgotten about Fly! Those Chelseas look lovely, and v reasonable. Off to look at Clark's and others mentioned, and might drop by the Docs stockist in town tomorrow.

I do have a pair of DM triumphs, love them but they're pretty heavy so not quite bouncy enough. Hadn't thought of trying different styles.

Thanks, will report backSmile

I've got a few H by Hudson boots that are 'funky' and still comfortable. Jules B (they have an online store) sell them

Just bought some chelsea / work boots in Aldo they are in the sale, incredibly comfortable, they have a padded sole.

dibly · 04/12/2016 19:00

jDSTER, what's the sizing like on the H for Hudson boots? I'm coveting a pair..

JDSTER · 04/12/2016 21:59

True to size dibley. I've got three different pairs all size 6 and I'm usually a 6

dibly · 04/12/2016 22:07

Fab, thanks

Another vote for fly. I like yokono too.
