I think my GHDs have a loose connection in the cable that attaches to the straighteners - is there any hope of getting this fixed? It am I going to have to buy some more?

I believe this was is a common problem a few years ago.

I took mine back to hairdressers where I bought them. They replaced them with a new pair and sent broken ones back to GHD.
I suppose it depends on how long you've had the mind. For the price you pay you expect them to last at least about 4-5 years

Ooh bumping as I also have this problem but can't remember where I got mine from.

I think I got mine from Amazon... I'll check...

You get two years free repairs on GHDS. After that you can fill in a form on gldhair.com and they'll send you a free returns label. You then send them off and they will contact you and tell you now much they would cost to repair. You then decide if you want it doing or the straighteners just returning.

I had my GHDsfixed about five months ago. They just stopped working not a fuse problem. Someone suggested a place in Leeds. I posted themand sent payment via PayPal. Three days later I got the back good as new. Grin one happy lady,I think it was about £35, much less than a new pair

I sent mine to a place in Rushden. £25 they were back within 2 days.

FusionChefGeoff · 05/12/2016 21:15
