Has anyone trying to achieve volume at the root used the Bumble & Bumble surf shampoo and conditioner?
Constantly trying to give oompf to my long, fine hair and have read such mixed reviews about these. I’m not really going for the beach waves look, just a shampoo and conditioner that won’t make my hair so silky that styling products slide right off it when I blow dry it. I notice B&B also do a thickening shampoo and conditioner, possibly this is better for what i’m trying to achieve?
All other voluminous recommendations welcomed! The only things I find remotely help are:
L'Oreal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Clay Re-Balancing shampoo and conditioner
Trevor Sorbie Volume Thickening Spray
Waiting till hair is 90% dry (naturally) before applying styling products and blowdrying
I know some with hair like mine wash it the day before so it’s not so ‘clean’ and easier to style but when i’m going out I prefer to do top to toe grooming on the day!
