Biker Jacket: size?

I've just bought myself a cheap biker jacket from Primark after much deliberation. I've always thought myself too booby for one, but I've lost a bit of weight recently so...

Optimistically I bought a 12. The arms are tight, but otherwise it's ok.

I'm wondering how much, if anything, the arms will give? It's PU, but soft.

Would you size up? I'm not sure how tight they're supposed to be..

Leather will stretch but I don't think PU will. Did you try the 14 and how did it look on the body? I have a similar problem with PU bikers, the arms are tight but larger sizes are huge on my shoulders or body

Maybe look at different brands as the fit will be different. It's a bit more expensive but warehouse PU bikers are great

I don't think PU gives either. I really hate the look and feel of tight sleeves so, if the next size up fits ok on the shoulders, I think I'd go for that. Some of the bikers coming out this winter are cut a bit oversized anyway. But if didn't fit on the shoulders, I'm afraid I'd give it a miss. Sorry.

Thanks both. I didn't try on the 14 because it was bedlam in the shop.

I've tried it over a sleeveless vest with no bra and it's better, but still tight on the arms.

I'm taking it back, and exchanging it for a 14, when I can face Primark again! girds loins.
