Long "lounge" cardigan under £60?

I'd love a long, cosy, soft, machine washable long cardigan - the sort of thing that's perfect to chuck on over your clothes to keep warm while lounging about the house - but I'm struggling to find anything that's half decent. Everything is either too thin, too expensive for 100% acrylic or too unreasonably waterfally. I've found one I LOVE but it's £400.

Help me style gurus! No black please.

What you describe sounds more like a dressing gown, which you can pick up cheap as you like from anywhere.

Aren't I helpful? Grin

I have a long machine washable number from primark of all places - wouldn't wear it out but it is oh so cosy and cost £10.

idont thanks, I've had a great cashmere jumper from there in the past so wouldn't rule it out - just hate the shopping experience there and they don't do online

You need to find a good Olivia Pope (Scandal box set) wine drinking Cardi. She is the queen of oversize, knitwear for purposes of relaxation.

I got a really nice one similar style in new look for 18 quid! Also m&s had some ones in (don't usually shop there) but mostly black and grey

Have a look on the Woolovers website. They do quite a few that might it the bill. I'm looking for a coatigan at the moment and keep drooling over their stuff.

I've got a wool one from wool overs, not the one pictured above. It's chunky with buttons for the tip half, deep pockets, with. ..What's it called. .. cable weave? It's dark grey and fabulous and gets lots of compliments.
