I've been given the most gorgeous, well groomed member of the team.
I suspect she's more La Prairie than Superdrug.
What can I get for £5?
I was thinking something cheap but from a high end range.
L'Occitane soap?

Crabtree & Evelyn soap?

I don't see a lot of point in a £5 budget - you can hardly get anything for that.

I had this a few years ago - decided she'd be happiest with something beautiful and a bit chi-chi, so she got a solitary but beautiful Christmas tree bauble from Liberty's (in the branded tissue paper to make the point). I think she liked it.

Actually that's a lovely idea.
I know it's only £5 but I don't want to just buy tat.

I quite get in to Secret Santa :) Last year I had someone who I randomly found out had never had a stocking when they were little, so she got her stocking from Secret Santa, complete with an orange, nuts, pack of matchmakers etc. It was fun watching her open it!

It might be better to swerve the beauty products, if you think she's a bit 'high end'. I love the luxury bauble idea or what about some lovely posh chocolate or shortbread?

Flyingover · 30/11/2016 19:25

Luxury bauble it is!
Sadly no where near Liberty but good old JL have some nice ones.
Thanks so much.

But if she's the sort who has it all themed, what's the point in having one odd bauble, no matter how nice it is?

You can get mini caudalie hand creams for about £4, Spacenk does them and other places like independent pharmacies (obviously not worth p&p expense online). Occitane mini hand cream also lovely and possibly easier to get hold of...
