Bardot jumper - what top?

I have this jumper really pleased with it, but can I wear a top underneath it at all?

The model wearing the black version seems to have a strappy vest underneath. Its a hard one - if it's cold enough to wear the jumper then it's too cold for bare shoulders.

Actually It's for a couple of parties indoors so could wear it just as a top, but was worried about getting too hot!! Im not keen on strappy tops so was wondering if something like this would work

Leaving the temperature judgements aside has anyone worn a top under a Bardot jumper....

kids party is a bowling a!ley where the temperature is quite variable .... Bits are quite cold and bits are quite warm.

Anyway was mainly wondering how others wore them

No, but I wore that very top to a birthday bash in October. It went down pretty well.

I really don't think they're intended to be worn with anything underneath, apart from a strapless bra.
