Non ugly laptop bag

Criteria are:-
Smart and stylish for city job but kind of pretty would be nice
Dark colour
Big enough for laptop and large file of papers - quite a bit bigger than a4.
Comfy to carry
If I can squeeze in a pair of shoes too....brilliant!

Can anyone find me one? Starting new job in the new year and having a wobble about looking up to the part

I hate laptop bags for precisely this reason! I have a large leather tote from monsoon - it was about £50 and I can fit laptop, A4 ring binders in their, stationery and all papers! I've not tried shoes but i suspect I could get a pair in!

Budget of about £150 so can't splash out on an aspinal!

I have this in a different colour and it's brilliant for work. Wish I'd bought it in black as well when I saw it. Separate laptop bit and good pockets, big enough for your needs.

I also have a knomo, found the exact one I had been coveting but too expensive at £325, found it in TKMaxx for £130.

Cote & Ciel do fab bags and they turn up on eBay sometimes too.

Menssana - yes, the Paul Costelloe bag is leather. I've got it, it's nice but it would be even better if it had a strap as well. I find it always falls off my shoulder,so I wouldn't rate it as the most comfortable laptop bag ever.
