Would you spend £48 on a hair product?

I have slightly dry hair due to the purple shampoo I use on my grey. I need really intense conditioners otherwise I get the mad frizz.

This morning I grabbed a sample of a hair mask I'd got ages ago from Birchbox and used it in the shower. Afterwards I was amazed by how soft and silky and smooth my hair was. Googled the product and it's £48 Shock. Roughly 10 times what I usually spend on a hair product.

I just can't bring myself to buy it. Even though I technically could afford it, I just can't.

Sob.

Liinoo Have tried coconut oil and don't like it.

I'm not buying the product. Have realised that it's a) a tiny bottle - 150ml and b) the main ingredient is silicone polymer. So not even good for my hair.

Am putting the money towards some new boots instead Smile.

Thanks everyone.
