My fave thing in there last week was this delightful pink velour number !

They've styled it with a crop top underneath Confused

WomenAtWorkWithDiggers · 28/11/2016 20:19

growcookeat It's very Margot from the Good Life...

PickAChew · 28/11/2016 20:28

That's versatile grow. Put your jammies on, then when you get a surprise invitation to evening drinks with Mrs Barbella at number 60, you're all ready, anyhow!

nicenewdusters · 28/11/2016 20:34

The jewellery and gold shoes with the velour jumpsuit - who styles this stuff???

Penvelopesnightie · 28/11/2016 20:38

I reckon they will close all their clothes stores in New Year and this is the final piss take . Someone in the executive suite has obviously had enough .

Rollinghills30 · 28/11/2016 21:15

Eww. It manages to be both bland and offensive. Quite an achievement I suppose.

CaraAspen · 29/11/2016 11:37

Their problem is their image. If those same baggy, pinky, trousery garments were on sale at Zara, people would be grabbing them and heading for the Pay Here queue.

CaraAspen · 29/11/2016 11:38

Not even Alexa Chung can save them...

JessicaEccles · 29/11/2016 11:53

I wouldn't wear pink velour even if I am in the nursing home.

P1nkP0ppy · 29/11/2016 12:00

You need to 'Shop the whole outfit' growcookeat 😱
It's so unbelievably hideous in the flesh so as to speak, that I half wondered if it was a joke!

The fabrics very cheap and shiny, the seams are puckered and quite frankly I would prefer to wear a bin bag.

Have just looked at the latest Alexa Chung collection. I love it. It is vey Alexa in style - even the model has her look - but for me that is a positive. The Templar coat is gorgeous and most reviews are very favourable.

Backingvocals · 29/11/2016 12:47

To be fair to them, pink velour was all over the catwalk (why, for the love of God) and has been replicated in hideous form all over the high street.

This is actually worse than anything in M&S:

OnTheTurningAway · 29/11/2016 13:55

I quite like that, Backing ! Would be nicer if the skirt wasn't pleated though, just full.

Backingvocals · 29/11/2016 14:24

Oh lordy. I would look like an amorphous booby sofa.

growcookeat · 29/11/2016 20:16

Ha! I obviously wasn't thinking - of course it would be perfect for lounging around in the house during the festive period when all manner of friends and family tend to just drop by. I would always be ready with my mince pie belly on show under my lacy crop top!

I just can't understand. I used to buy 80% of my wardrobe there up to maybe 2 years ago. Now I struggle to find shoes.
*
Backingvocals* I can't believe the dress has sold out! Who's buying it?!

illegitimateMortificadospawn · 29/11/2016 22:04

The funniest thing about that Oasis frock is that it has sold out. I have to wonder if the whole consignment went up in flames in the warehouse (veyyy flammable) but I suspect actual, real life humans bought them. Shock Shock Shock

illegitimateMortificadospawn · 29/11/2016 22:05

Oh shit, I see groweat already commented on the selling out aspect.

SirChenjin · 29/11/2016 22:08

The OP looks like something my 9 year old would create in Minecraft

Floisme · 30/11/2016 14:24

Ok saw those pink velour trousers for real today and you're right - they are vile.
To be fair to them, the velvet looks horrible everywhere - thin, shiny and generally nasty. I'm going to look for vintage.
