Zara sizing - should I risk it?

Hi, I've seen a lovely coat on offer. Can't get in to try it on. What dress size are you if you wear an xxl?

Don't quite understand the question - use the size guide on the website, it's pretty accurate. In Zara a 10 is a M, 12 = L, 14 = XL so XXL would be a 16.

I would never buy from Zara without trying (although you can always return) as I think the sizes vary massively. I'm a 10/12 and have Zara XS, S, M and L in my wardrobe, all of which fit the same.

I would always always try first or if you have to buy online, get a couple of sizes.

I posted this on another thread, but I recently bought some jeans and two jumpers - sizes 14, M and S respectively. I'm a 14 with massive boobs so this was surprising!

My husband brought me a dress from Zara....it's M....it's enormous. I'm 5'5 with broad shoulders and a size 10....

Just bought a Zara coat in XXL, am size 16 - 18. Tried XL but bit tight on shoulders.

I wear an XL in everything without stretch. Other shops I'm usually a 14-18 bottom and a 10/12 top.

I recently bought a puffer coat in size L and am a 10/12 in most shops.

Thanks for the feedback - I am a 14-16 usually with a big chest. I do have a Zara xl coat but the one I have ordered looks a little more fitted/structured. Hadn't realised xxl was new, and only in some ranges, so maybe Zara are finally waking up to the fact that their customers aren't all size 8 waifs jealousy is not a nice trait
