box colour - do you shampoo it off?

Or just rinse and use the conditioner?
I know mine washes in the salon but wasn't sure.

I rinse then shampoo, but I use a red dye so it's pretty hard to shift

I shampoo off. I suspect it doesn't help in terms of making the colour last but I'd rather not leave the chemicals on my scalp.

Is the stuff they provide just conditioner or does it have special dye helping powers?
