Unusual but inexpensive candles - any recommendations?

I want to try some more candles as we're getting into winter. Ideally I'm not looking to spend more than a tenner per candle.
A lot of places do vanilla but that's a bit boring. I've got a cardamom and cedar one from Dunelm which is nice, I'll try and link it. Any suggestions?

Amber Noir by Shearer Candles.

I just ordered a couple of St Eval candles as Christmas presents and found the code FLASH16 online which took 20% off the order, not sure how long it's valid for but definitely worth using if you're ordering now Smile

I'm always harping on about Bog Standard candles - have the house full of them and buy them as presents for everyone. They come in gorgeous boxes. Scents are kind of Irish/country inspired - Linen and Field are my favourite. They're made by a mum at our school so I like to support her and the women who work for her.

Totally reccomend the simple candle co, I have been using the candles for over a year and now subscribe to their melts monthly box.
My favourites are Damson Noir and Caramel and they are so so reasonable

Thanks for the St Eval discount code - there's a wee gift shop here that stocks them but the code made it cheaper to buy online.

I'm really liking the JL Christmas candles just now, there's a spicy one and a fir tree one, both lovely.

Thanks for the code Beast £7 off!

Someone bought me one of these for Xmas last year and it was really lovely.. great fragrance and 'wafts' really well around the room http://parkminster.co.uk/collections/candles

Melt candles are lovely, with St Eval. The Forest scent is just pure pine forest, in a non loo freshener scent. It smells great even unlit.

Another vote for Zara Home candles, especially the 'green herbs' one.

Foundscents do lovely candles

Morrisons has Baylis and Harding candles for about £8 this week.

Waitrose does some interesting scented candles too for not too much

New look candles are fab. They do a great caramel one, a nice cinnamon one as well.

AmberNectarine · 24/11/2016 21:21

Bought some of these today. Just lovely.

fiorentina · 24/11/2016 21:47

Amber do they smell strong please? The scents sound amazing!

AmberNectarine · 24/11/2016 23:32

Yes they're lovely.

My favourite is the Cinnamon Apple

As a PP mentioned, TKMaxx is good for nice candles at reduced prices.
I've recently bought Neom and this works candles at half RRP.

Thanks, I will get some to try! Cinnamon Apple sounds lovely. Makes a change from the wintery scents I've had before.
