Recommend me a foundation

I have combination skin that tends to get oil on the t-zone. I'm also just starting to get fine lines around my eyes. I'm also rather pale.
I only wear foundation for going out, so I'm willing to spend a little bit more than my normal bargainous tastes, although something that comes in a small container would be best.
Can someone recommend me some?
I'm currently using smashbox primer if that makes a difference.

I use Chanel Les Beiges. I use Nivea post shave balm as primer (it's cheap and I love the smell).

Thanks Lulu My mua uses Nivea as a primer too, it works like a dream! I got the smashbox in a set with my boots points ages ago, which is why I use it.
Do you find Les Beiges is good for a greasy t-zone? I thought I'd read when it first came out that it wasn't good for oily skin.

Have you tried Bb Cream? X

After months of research and testing I use YSL touche eclat foundation, it's great, just use a bit of powder over the top if needed. I'm oily/ combination and found les beiges too greasy.

I'd use a bb cream for the odd time I'd wear makeup during the day, need something heavier for during the night.
I didn't realise there was a Touche Eclat foundation. I'll have a check of that too.
thanks all.

Bought a tube of M & S Autograph illuminating touch tinted moisturiser. It received rave reviews in Style magazine 3 weeks ago, every time I tried to get it it was out of stock. Finally got my hands on a tube last Thursday and have to say its absolute lovely. Grin Its light, but gives enough coverage to hide uneven skin tone, it really does illuminate the skin and its cheap £9.50.

I have combination skin, and I find Les Beiges stays on and doesn't dry my skin out or look oily. I tried several different types but most make me look like I've been tangoed or like I'm wearing a mask.

I am a bit of a foundation avoider but decided to treat myself to a Laura geller set from QVC a couple of weeks ago.

My kit contains the Brighten and Glow foundation.

They are all powders but not powders iykwim.

Very nice. It is perfect for me as I don't like liquids/creams on my skin.

Wortgw looking into.
