Tan ankle boots

What do folks think of these ankle boots from Next? I'm wanting something to wear in winter for work, with trousers (cigarette leg type that come to my ankles, navy blue?). Would these go, or would I look daft? I have to look smartish. Any advice or alternatives gratefully received 😊

I'm not super keen on them to go with cigarette pants, maybe they are slightly too chunky?
