Christmas party dress help please!

This year work are having a Christmas bash in a fairly nice hotel (as opposed to the usual grim rugby club buffet and disco...).

I need a suitable dress, but don't want to spend too much (under £50 if possible).

I'm 33, pear shaped, size 10/12, 5'6", horrible upper arms. Brunette, pale skin, green eyes.

I've seen this but not sure if the high neck might be a bit matronly.

I like rich colours, hate pastels. Anyone seen anything that might fit the bill?

I love that dress ☺ doesn't look frumpy at all.

I'm in the same boat. Don't need anything too clingy. Was pondering going 50s style as that seems to suit my figure more.

I also like the dress and anything 'matronly' about the high neck is dispelled by the v-neck back.

Add a pair of sparkly christmassy earrings and you're good to go. Sorted!

That's a lovely dress and very seasonal

I've ordered it :) have ordered in 10 and 12, but annoyingly you have to pay for returns. Fingers crossed one of them fits....
