What are they like - say, compared to Marks, Gap etc? Quality, washing - do they tumbledry without shrinking? Finally, sizing ... do they come up big/small?

Thanks

Never tumble dried mine but they wash well and are good quality. Definitely on the smaller size IMO.

sleeplessinderbyshire · 17/11/2016 19:15

They last forever. They are very skinny fitting

myfriendnigel · 17/11/2016 19:16

They are awesome.had mine for 5 years. They wash well, no fading, and keep their shape. Love mine!
I'm a size 10 and the equivalent size 10 fit me just right.

PollysPoppy · 17/11/2016 22:27

Thank you. Gosh, I wonder what size to order for an average height, fairly slim 8 year old. They're for their Christmas Jamie's so don't want to size up so big that they fit next year! Might have to order two sizes .... the post office lady will love me and my returns .... not!

I see these on amazon on special offer quite a lot. I think they have good reviews.

misson · 17/11/2016 22:38

Expensive but great quality. I would say fit true to size but then supermarket clothes drown my kids.

HerRoyalNotness · 17/11/2016 22:38

They are very good quality. I buy my 2 matching pjs every year from them, this year it's the rocket design. They seem to be true to size, I have a skinny 9yo and always buy his age, if they fit 2 years, bonus

ThatsNotMyToddler · 17/11/2016 22:39

Definitely skinny fit so just go by the height. My tall but skinny 4 yr old is in a size 5 currently.

PollysPoppy · 17/11/2016 22:45

Just had a look at the sizing ... seems to go in single years up tom8 and then jumps to age 10 which I think would be way too long! Thanks all.

up to 8

I usually get them Boden pjs at Christmas and find those on the small side.

Slender DS (just turned 6) is in the 5yo Hatley boxer shorts and PJ's and they fit perfectly. Expensive but love the designs, lovely quality and wash well (I tumble dry them too. Waist sizes are slim as others have mentioned.

dungandbother · 17/11/2016 22:52

Skinny fit but I still sew the waistband in smaller for my skinny kids. So not that skinny

DD is 9. Wearing 8-10. Has been since 8. Will be another year. So true on sizing.

Well worth it. Wash tumble. Rinse. Repeat.

nennyrainbow · 17/11/2016 22:53

I find the Boden skinny ones are tiny - you always need to buy about 2 years ahead. I think the Hatley ones are longer although they're equally skinny. We found the top quite short compared with the bottoms but we seem to have that problem with a lot of makes so I think it's probably because DS is an odd shape.

PollysPoppy · 17/11/2016 23:04

Thank you. Good point Dung that 8 is actually 8-10. Will just order one size!
