Forest Green - a safe colour?

About to invest in the coat of my dreams.
Before I'm £150 down, can anyone reassure me that forest Green is a lovely classic colour that can work well with other colours?

It will go well with my colouring (I'm a fair skinned redhead) but will it go with many colours?

I think it's a great winter colour, cheerful and happy. It goes with lots of other wintery colours burgundy, black, tweed anything dark hued really.

I have a lot of forest green clothes. I pair them with soft white, denim, navy, gray, black and burgundy.

And I have four winter coats in different shades of green - a forest green Gap parka; a long, warm camo pattern puffa coat; a khaki green down jacket, and an olive green raincoat. All great, worn regularly.

Please link this coat, I would love to see it!

I went for boring old grey and regret it a bit. Forest Green absolutely lovely.

Coat is lovely. You can add a bright scarf and ot will look amazing. I am a red head and have had a green coat every year for last ten years. Goes with everything

I had a green school uniform (we called it Bottle Green) and I vowed I would never wear that colour again once I left school.

30 years on and I'm starting to love it (Forest Green sounds nicer though) and I have loads of clothes in that shade of green now.
