Help me find boots for my husband please!

So my husband has asked for some boots for Christmas and I am not sure what to go for - all the models on the websites I've looked at seem to be wearing the boots with skinny jeans and that's not really my husband's look! He's got no preference to style or colour so anything goes in terms of that - I just want something which will look nice with regular, non-skinny jeans! For info he's early 30s, tall and fairly athletic build. The very top end of my budget would be £150. Any suggestions? What do your husbands/partners wear???

Brown/navy/black suede boots with a wooden looking sole seem to be fashionable this year.
White Stuff have some lovely ones instore.

Have you looked at Timberland? Pricey but great. DH wears them to death then replaces with exactly the same! He has the zip ones not laces which I can't see on their website at the moment but may be elsewhere, he doesn't wear skinny jeans .

Second Timberland. I got some on Asos on Black Friday a few years ago and saved about £60!

If he has tiny feet (like my brother) you can get Boys size 7 for under £70 on Amazon on Black Friday!
