Sequin dress

Hi

So, at the grand old age of 43 I have become a backing singer in a band! All very exciting and well out of my normal comfort zone. We have a big gig in December and I think a little black (sequin) dress would be perfect.

I'm brunette, size 10, 5ft 8 and want to be as unmumsy as possible. Any ideas? Can't afford anything too £££.

I did wonder if it might get too hot under the lights, but it's so nice I thought it worth suggesting anyway...!

I saw that Warehouse dress in the shop today - it is really fab. (Sadly I have no Christmas parties to go to or it would have come home with me!)

I am going to be wearing this amazingly sparkly dress to all of my Christmas parties this year. Worth going to see it in person as it is even more sparkly and not green, as it looks in some of the pictures. It's black, with black/ dark blue sequins. That warehouse dress is a beaut!

Well I'm just over 5'9" and it's mid thigh - I'll wear with black tights. I'm also 43
