Keeping white clothes white... How?

As the title says really. I wear lab coats at work and they're all a creamy colour after many washes...

How can I make them gleam again?

Why are you washing your lab coats?

Are they not taken off site to be laundered professionally?

IBelieveTheEarthIsFlat · 14/11/2016 14:04

Vanish powder +90o hot wash

For Lab coats you could also use Glow White, but not at the same time as the Vanish, I think - check the instructions

Only wash white with white, no more than 40' if they have poly content, and use Bio powder (I prefer Lidl) with a slug of Napisan in every wash

Wash whites on their own, in hot water and with plenty of Ariel and Vanish whitening powder. But I'm not sure white that have lost their gleam can be returned to pristine. The best thing is never to wash them other than alone/hot/Ariel/Vanish.

Vanish. Even the exMIL was amazed at my whites. She'd never used it before.

Only wash white with white ! Use oxi white and wash a level hotter than the label says !

Vanish. DD1 got some blueberry on her shirt last night and I was prepared to bin it. It is spotless now.
