Using Liz earle Skincare, had a few spots?

I've only been using the cleanser, toner and moisturiser for 2 days and I've had a few spots?

Should I continue?

It's giving me dry patches and my skin looks red and patchy. I don't know if I should keep on using it either, but I don't usually spend much on skin stuff so I don't want to waste it.

Why waste your money on Avon Liz Earle

The hot cloth cleanser from Superdrug is lovely and costs £4.99

Evvy543 · 11/11/2016 22:32

Yeah, heard allot about the superdrug ones.
Which is better? The Vitamin E or the radiance?

Go for radiance. Vitamin E is fine, but almost too creamy. Radiance made my skin feel a bit cleaner.

RubyGoat · 11/11/2016 22:35

Yes. I got a sample of one of the cleansers a few years ago - massive spots. Recently tried the spray toner - massive spots. Won't be wasting my money again.

Liz Earle producers smell very strongly of aromatherapy type inspire diners somyou could be sensitive to the ingredients. I foun the hot cloth see fiery drying.

Corialanusburt · 11/11/2016 22:35

Or 'set very drying'

Badhairday1001 · 11/11/2016 22:46

Same. Not usually dry or sensitive. I've never heard of the superdrug one, I will have a look.

han01uk · 11/11/2016 22:50

A large batch of hot cloth cleanse and polish has been reacalled..might be worth checking.

MozzchopsThirty · 11/11/2016 22:56

I prefer the vitamin E from Superdrug
But I'm old Grin

Evvy543 · 11/11/2016 23:17

I don't get on with Liz Earle stuff, sadly

Is it really Avon?

Tantpoke · 12/11/2016 08:53

No it's not Avon but was bought last year by the owners of Boots apparently.
I finally caved in and bought some recently and it is lovely.
I did try the Superdrug dupe last year and hated it which put me off the real deal which is infinitely better.
I have very sensitive skin so I'm pleased it works for me.
I bought mine as part of a set from QVC that was on offer, so bit bemused that Boots own it now but still selling through QVC where they must still have tons of loyal followers.

DoItTooJulia · 12/11/2016 08:55

The affected batches were sold direct from the LE website. Where did you buy yours?

I swapped to the Superdrug cheapy one and it's fine.
