Going out tops with long sleeves

Why is it so hard to find nice going out/smarter tops with long sleeves?

It's our anniversary next week, going out for a posh meal and I haven't got anything to wear. I have nice black trousers and a skirt but nothing to go with them!

I'm a 12, 5'3" with boobs and inverted triangle shape. Suggestions please!

to wear with a maxi skirt to a works party. It looks great with trousers/jeans too. Can be dressed up or down. Love it!

TeaAndBisquits Yes it is, its got a bit of give though, and is comfortable, not too fitted.

Recently bought this fenn wright Manson top for Christmas parties. It has elbow length sleeves and drapes beautifully.

I bought it in a John Lewis store however and am quite shocked how it looks online, I'd never have chosen it from this pic, it looks nothing like it looks on me. I'm almost embarrassed to say I bought this yet I love it in real life! I think the boobs may change the fit entirely.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm not keen on florals or big prints. I quite like the Boden one (forgot about Boden!) and the Fenn Wright Manson one.

Somebody posted a great top here recently. It was a long sleeved, fine knit with sparkles. It was from Whistles I think and called Annie. I remember thinking it was very versatile, simple and classy.

Mint Velvet is worth a look- their tops are often long sleeved.

When I look online at the Annie top I'm always a bit concerned that it looks see through. Has anyone seen it in rl?

That's lovely wheat I've ordered that to try and also found another modern rarity one in a petrol blue colour. Some great suggestions, thank you.
