Xmas doo

I'm hoping I can get some help...

3 weeks until my xmas doo, biggest I've ever been so very self conscious.

I've looked at these (see attached) but out of stock, any ideas welcome
Not keen on bold patterns or above knee dresses

It's going to depend a bit on where you are going / what everyone else will be wearing ?

A fancy hotel with a 3 course meal and lots of drinks / games

The consensus is sparky dresses / partywear?

There are some georgeous relaxed style velvet trouser suits about. I would go for one of these with a sparkly top. I think a whole sparkly dress is a bit Ott, personally. You can wear jewellery that makes it look special too and I would go for dark blue, not black. Loads of dresses are too short, so trousers make a lot of sense.
