Quick Poll - Yay or Nay to this AllSaints jacket

The 20% code off has beguiled me into ordering a leather jacket (NOVEMBER is the code if it helps). So it is here. I love it. And then I see the photos I just took of it and get all hyper-critical on it myself

So - yay? or nay?

(Excuse odd lighting - just wanted a done up/undone photo)

I say yes but I think it deserve a bit more of a dressy outfit to make it look the part.

onlyconnect · 10/11/2016 14:08

Yes but doesn't look its best with that top because of the neck

BusterGonad · 10/11/2016 14:22

I'm thinking a patterned shirt with black skinny jeans.

BusterGonad · 10/11/2016 14:22

Or a plain floaty shirt.

ChopOrNot · 10/11/2016 21:34

Hmmm. More jeans and jumper kind of person than floaty shirts.

I like the jacket although It doesn't really go with the outfit you are wearing in the picture though sorry.

Sadik · 10/11/2016 22:00

Yes, definitely, but not with that top, partly because of the v-neck, and partly because it's too long.

Not sure that jeans and jumper sort of outfits would be a bad thing, unless you think that most of your tops are going to be too long relative to the jacket?

sortthetacheoutbernard · 10/11/2016 22:00

Looks good. Your whole look looks good (hair etc). wear it your way.
Does look better undone though.

acurtis1234 · 11/11/2016 07:35

I have that one (the Bales) they do it every year, but this year it's particularly good, the leather is much better. I like that it's less of an obvious biker style, much more classic and long lasting. A lot of the current AS range are very trend led and will date quickly.

I think it suits you but don't do it up. Although only zipped a little bit like you've done isn't that bad, I just think done up looks more like you're wearing it to actually get on a motorbike rather than wearing for style!

PNGirl · 11/11/2016 08:15

I have the same one and love it. I normally wear it with a long sleeved t shirt, jeans and trainers or boots. Looks good!

PNGirl · 11/11/2016 08:17

Also your top will always be longer than the jacket since it's waist length so I wouldn't worry about that too much.

ItsLikeRainOnYourWeddingDay · 11/11/2016 09:03

Jacket - yes.

With jeans and jumper - no.

Floisme · 11/11/2016 09:14

I like it and I think it looks great on you though better unfastened as people have said. The longer top underneath looks fine too - in fact I thought that was kind of the point.

As for not wearing them with jumpers.... Shock Confused Grin
