Biker boots- help me decide

zippyswife · 10/11/2016 10:09

So I need some comfortable boots for the winter to go with skinnys and leather jacket and skinnys and big Mum coat.

I'm thinking a short biker boot? Could I have opinions on these please?

Or is there something better out there? All have 20% off at the minute so I need to get it sorted... plus my feet are cold- this is no longer converse weather!

I like the miss it ones the best. I don't like the others but the they have a slightly beat up style which I don't like in general. Others do.

zippyswife · 10/11/2016 10:21

Thanks! Yes I know what you mean re the beat up look. That's not necessarily what I want. I look shabby enough without any help!!

Agree, I like the Miss KG ones too. I've got a pair of ugg biker boots and have worn them to death. Ugg are making some really nice boots now, way different to their original style. I know they're more expensive but well worth it OP. That sounds like a sales pitch but isn't!! Grin

zippyswife · 10/11/2016 10:45

Whichever ones do you have? I was considering these

But dismissed them as I thought they looked a bit fussy. I am more minimalist/simple (in theory Hmm).

I like the Ugg ones, I feel like the others look a bit too manly, but I'm quite feminine so I'm guessing we have different styles anyway.

burnishedsilver · 10/11/2016 10:58

I like the look of the Ms Kg pair but they are way too expensive for totally synthetic shoes. I don't think the quality is good and I think your feet would sweat in them.

BusterGonad · 10/11/2016 10:59

Actually the Miss KG are nice too.

zippyswife · 10/11/2016 11:01

Yes I just realised that the miss KG ones aren't leather. That is too expensive for non-leather. That's the style I like best I think. In which case I don't suppose anyone's seen something like the miss KG but in leather?

Thanks for the help by the way! I'm dreadful at making decisions!

I'm getting the Superdry hubris after seeing them on here.

thingsthatgoflumpinthenight · 10/11/2016 11:46

I would step away from the Clarks website OP - the quality of their boots is shockingly bad. I have had two pairs crack right across the soles within a couple of months, and DH had the same thing happen with a pair of shoes. There was a thread recently about it on here where loads of people had the same experience.

How about these?. Or if you don't like fur-lined there are other nice ones on that site...

zippyswife · 10/11/2016 12:10

Those office ones are perfect! I'm ordering a pair now! Thank you! I'd compketely forgotten about office!

thingsthatgoflumpinthenight · 10/11/2016 12:18

Aw that's fab! I'm wondering if I should order some myself now, just as a back up pair... Grin

zippyswife · 10/11/2016 12:36

They look lovely. There's an extra 20% off with the code extra. Brings them down to £62!!!

OP posts:
zippyswife · 10/11/2016 12:37

They have same ones in non-fur lined too!! I have ordered both. Then going to collect in store and return the ones I don't like.

thingsthatgoflumpinthenight · 10/11/2016 13:02

Ooh £62 for leather biker boots is a bargain I can't pass up Grin

zippyswife · 10/11/2016 13:46

Actually... make that £59!
