If you like Boden ....

Where else are you shopping for clothes?

That's it really. I don't seem to find anything I like on the high street and again seem to always go back to the same shops online.
I need new ideas so I don't end up being the cover girl for the next Boden catalog!

For casual stuff I like Seasalt. For smarter I'm currently into Hush and Mint Velvet

although I am currently wearing a Boden dress which is unhelpful

Clarinet1 · 08/11/2016 16:56

What about Joules? Cath Kidston? Debenhams (especially the "Designers at ranges)?

HummusForBreakfast · 08/11/2016 19:39

Thank you for all the ideas.
I am really looking at the smarter end of things atm so Joules or SeaSalt wouldn't quite do (I do use both of them though)

Agree with pp re Hush and Mint Velvet. The White Company have some lovely bits aswell - I'm currently wearing a shirt dress bought from there last week and they always have a 15% voucher on the go.

cheapskatemum · 09/11/2016 09:13

Was going to say Phase Eight and Hobbs, I see they've both already got a mention.

CruCru · 09/11/2016 13:58

I like Landsend but not for anything smart.

Diamonddealeroncemore · 09/11/2016 14:01

Definitely Poetry I love their clothes

hooliodancer · 09/11/2016 14:01

I love Jigsaw and would buy everything from there if I could.

I like tops from Baujken.

polyhymnia · 09/11/2016 14:15

Another vote for Poetry here. A favourite. And their other brand, Wrap.

helzapoppin2 · 09/11/2016 15:19

Nomads and Adini

SafariOrigami · 09/11/2016 15:35

Great question OP! I too love Boden for lots of things. Last year I bought very few clothes for myself as I had lots to be used. This year I needed to replace lots and I am literally the walking Boden catalogue - I bought a coat, bag, dress, knitwear, blouse, bretons x 3, boots etc etc.

I also bought a couple of really gorgeous things in Jigsaw (velvet skinny jeans, cashmere jumper, sweater and plaid shirt)

I agree with a previous poster - I would buy everything they have in Jigsaw this year if I had the budget!

I also like whistles, cos, french connection - selectively in each.

I adore Noa Noa too

I am 46, size 10 and work in a very creative environment so dress casual \smart but with a slight edge. I like tailoring as opposed to drapey clothes!

Must look up Poetry as never heard of them..

polyhymnia · 09/11/2016 16:49

Poetry might well be too much on the drapy side for you then.

HummusForBreakfast · 09/11/2016 19:15

Thank you all for these great ideas. I've discovered a lot of things I had never come across :)

By any chance anyone who would know where to find jumpers (fine merino style of thing) with some warm colours instead of the usual grey/black/brown?

Sometimes French Connection.

Banana Republic, Ted Baker.

And I love a rummage in TK Maxx
