Boot quandry

I am having trouble choosing a new pair of boots. I have been having problems for two years. Last year I had cold feet all winter because I didn't want to spend money on something I didn't really like.

I want some bits mainly to go with skinnies and dresses. I want leather not suede. I want a dip at the front. I want smart but cute. I don't want western.

I have a very limited budget.

I've been going round in circles for si long that I hardly know what boots are any more. The ones I'm linking to are listed as shoes!

So, given all that, what do you think of these and if you don't like them have you got any suggestions?

I'm struggling because that dipped-front shape is almost always on an ankle boot that is a) suede and b) has a western heel. Also if you want leather for under 50 quid your options are limited.

Is this kind of thing too casual?

I know! I'm not keen on those I'm afraid. What did you think of the m and S ones?

I think they're fine apart from that the heel is a bit thin maybe?

margaritasbythesea · 06/11/2016 19:42

Mmm yes. I think it's a bit high too. Thanks for your help.
