Hairline rash

I home dyed my hair last week using L'Oréal prodigy. Yesterday I found a rash right along my hairline going into my scalp. I've used this product before and haven't changed any hair washing products. This rash is sore and weepy. Would this happen a week after using the dye. I would have thought it would have shown immediately. If not the dye what could cause this.

I too had this several days after a trip to the hairdresser for highlights. Been having for years and same products as usual. All I could think was it had not been entirely washed off and I had inadvertently had it on my hairline until it was washed the following day. I took a lot of antihistamines as it seemed to be very hot and itchy.

Thanks for your response I washed it off in the shower so must have left some on my hairline. Still using cream to stop the rash!
