Nail colour advice needed pls!

Hello,

Am wearing a bright blue evening dress later and don't know what colour nails to go for. I think (but not sure) that matching bright blue would look a bit naff or twee? Got black shoes and a black sparkly clutch bag. Black nails or is that OTT?!

Any pointers would be much appreciated as I don't do this very often!!
