I'd really appreciate your thoughts!

I like it but I'm not particularly cool or trendy!

Thanks in advance!

I also think user has a point as the shoulders seem a bit large on you!

user1471950254 · 04/11/2016 05:59

I like it but would not wear the tights/shoes

milkysmum · 04/11/2016 06:08

I absolutely love it!

OffBeatOyster · 04/11/2016 07:46

ShockShockShock
I was hoping people would say the black tights look ok!!
Nude tights are a nightmare for me, my legs look ghostly white or tangerine orange! I've never been able to find a decent shadeConfused

The background of the dress is black, so it's a blue and black dress. Do the black shoes really not work?

Black tights are totally fine. That's what I'd wear.

Cakescakescakes · 04/11/2016 07:48

I hate nude tights :)

Cakescakescakes · 04/11/2016 07:49

And your shoes are lovely.

twojumpingbeans · 04/11/2016 08:03

I think it looks fab, beautiful dress. I'd wear black tights too. Nude ones look a bit old ladyish on me.

ErrolTheDragon · 04/11/2016 08:16

Def black tights and shoes with a black and blue dress.

pleasestopsnoring · 04/11/2016 08:37

I'd wear black tights too

GinAndOnIt · 04/11/2016 08:43

Dress is lovely, floor is lovely - you have good taste Wink

hettie · 04/11/2016 09:38

If you really wanted the whole outfit to really pop, I'd try and find some shoes accessories in the brighter blue colour in the dress...

PatMullins · 04/11/2016 09:39

Good choice OP Smile

BusterGonad · 04/11/2016 09:46

Have you tried M&S nude tights? I just really think it calls for a nude leg! That's just my opinion so go with what feels comfortable but the dress would really pop with nude legs and a coloured shoe!

Monkeybunkey · 04/11/2016 13:35

I love it - I wore something similar to a wedding on Christmas Eve last year, with black tights and black ankle boots.

OlennasWimple · 04/11/2016 13:37

Love it!

I would also wear nude tights (and second the M&S suggestion - "natural tan" looks good on me) and coloured shoes, but the black ones are nice if you want to stick with what you have

MrsDc7 · 04/11/2016 13:40

Dress is nice but not with tights and shoes - you need a light shoe preferably with an open toe

Overthinker2016 · 04/11/2016 23:54

Nude tights and a coloured shoe = naff.

OnlyHereForTheCamping · 05/11/2016 07:18

I am not woo, but I thought it is worth mentioning that peacock feathers are considered bad luck. Esp at a wedding. If the bride is not woo then wear away

Kirriemuir · 05/11/2016 07:51

Black tights and shoes are fine. I have the same problem with nude tights as you!

One toe shoes at a winter wedding - just no.
