Where do you all buy your skinnies?

I desperately need some new jeans, skinnies I think, but don't know where to start & would like some recommendations.
The last pair I bought were from white stuff but I found they sagged quickly & have a hole in the knee. I'm not very good at shopping & tend to stick to the same things & have bought white stuff or fat face jeans for the last 10+ years & feel I need to try something else!
Thank you

Topshop Jamie and Leigh

Zanashar · 05/11/2016 16:21

Topshop Jamie are great. They're like a 7/8 length so ankle length.
For a higher waist go for Joni but these have no back pockets so can make your bottom look larger than it is ( I don't mind that bit!). Plus they're nice and high waisted so great for tucking in a bit of a mum tum.
Tried the Topshop Leigh but the fabric is usually rubbish (got a few pulls on one pair) and they have a low rise so be prepared for a bit of a muffin top.
Looking for a new brand to try as feel too old for Topshop now. Will
Be interested to see what's out there and recommended

DD has fatface and Next. Both are fab.
My thighs are too big for skinnies Sad.

JuneBalloon · 05/11/2016 17:53

Next 360 - best £46 I've spent on jeans! I'm 5ft 8" and the 'long' fits me perfectly. I don't have any hips or butt but can still wear them without a belt. Got fed up of buying cheaply New Look jeans that went shiny and wrinkly within a few washed.

Asda wonder fit! Brought my first pair s couple of weeks ago after hearing them recommended on here

Fantastic fit perfectly and do sag at all and super comfy

WackyWalrus · 05/11/2016 18:01

Boden

jenniuol · 05/11/2016 20:24

Asda wonderful only come in short or regular. I'm 5'8 and the regular were at least 4 inches too short. M and s never have size 8 long in stock anywhere for me. Ever. Zara can be ok. Next I've also found ok but their long length leg is 31 inch. Confused extra long is 33. Really? River island is quite good so is new look and oasis.

Oasis cherry are amazing

Very comfy and very flattering

Wintersnow39 · 05/11/2016 22:33

Mango and Jack Wills fit nice.

Summerlovin24 · 06/11/2016 08:09

Dorothy perkins

ToastieRoastie · 06/11/2016 09:39

Mango here too - stay skinny after multiple washes

BusterGonad · 06/11/2016 10:06

User147 how are the fit on the Oasis Cherry? I always look at them on line and wonder if they are true to size, I've got the Jade but they've gone a bit loose and I'm not sure if it's me slimming down a tad (doubt it) or them losing their shape!

VilootShesCute · 06/11/2016 13:50

What about high waisted ones? My muffin top is out of control and there don't seem to be any that sit over the fat and keep it in.

lockie1983 · 06/11/2016 14:52

Zara high waited skinnies are the only ones that don't give me that gap at the back - I'm awfully pear shaped and can manage a size down which fit snug on the waist and stretch on the bum

DoctorBeat · 06/11/2016 15:40

I buy my skinniest from peacocks of all places! Their indigo size 12 standard skinnies are the perfect fit for me and really flattering. I've got 3 pairs and think they are £12!

MinesaPinot · 06/11/2016 17:41

GAP - only place I can walk in and pick up a pair in my size knowing they will fit without having to try them on first.

BoredOfWaiting · 06/11/2016 17:44

Topshop Leigh

Fluffycloudland77 · 06/11/2016 18:21

I rotate All Saints biker skinnies, river island Amelie & Molly.

Washing with no fab soft helps the knees stay in shape, it can degrade the elastane in Lycra.

Dancergirl · 06/11/2016 19:09

I am still looking for 'the' pair.

I have very skinny legs and most skinnies bag around the knee and ankle. Can anyone recommend some that are good for skinny legs please?

RI Molly are ok on me, a good fit at the top but baggy round the ankle. Top Shop Joni are quite good but they don't have pockets.

magratvonlipwig · 07/11/2016 02:28

M&s. The cheap £15 ones not the expensive ones.

Not next ever

Megainstant · 07/11/2016 07:18

M&S 19.50 super skinnys have fab high waist. Indigo ones hold their shape well. Black ones not so good

Riversiderunner · 07/11/2016 07:26

Gap's black ones fade very quickly. Don't buy black ones there!

DoYouRememberJustinBobby · 07/11/2016 07:35

Gap and Topshop Jamie are my go to but I've found some terrific high waisted ones in M&S which normally isn't somewhere I would touch for clothes.

Dancergirl · 16/11/2016 09:41

I'm going to try Top Shop Jamie. Can someone help me with sizing please? I am a size 12 with very slim legs and 5'3" tall. What size shall I get??

PNGirl · 16/11/2016 10:00

I'm a large 12 hourglass with fairly chunky thighs and 5'3. I buy a 30/30 so they are ankle length. Maybe a 28 waist? Depends on the colour though. My black ones don't stretch as much as my indigo ones.
