Boden ruched skirt sizing

I ordered the Boden ruched skirt, on back order, when it was discounted after seeing the thread on here. MN has a lot to answer for!

So I ordered a size 12 which I was concerned may be a bit tight at the size I was when I ordered it. But now I have finally got my ass into gear and decided to lose the weight. So now I have lost 13 lbs and by the time this skirt actually arrives I will definitely have lost at least another 7 lbs, but most likely more, and will realistically be more a size 10.

Is the skirt going to be too big on me? I have never bought skirts from Boden so don't know what the sizing is like. Does the jersey mean it's a bit tighter and might still fit?

Anyone? Am I going to wait forever for this awesome skirt, then have to return it?

It won't arrive op. I also ordered it and checked with Boden yesterday who said that they cannot fulfil orders from that time as they didn't have the stock.

I have it in 12 and like you, lost weight and am now a 10. The skirt is still wearable, but personally I think it looks better when it's tight, so mine is just sitting there waiting for me to put the weight on again.

Unfortunately, due to a slight stock discrepancy in our warehouse, this skirt has now sold out, and we are unable to fulfil both of your orders. Although stock availability on our website is usually very accurate, occasional stock discrepancies can occur. This is especially true with sale items that appear in very low quantities to begin with, as they sell out much quicker than usual. Please rest assured that you have not been charged for this item.

Mine - for part of my daughter's Xmas - is still showing as reserved, which has changed in the last couple of weeks from 'processing'. I'm not banking on it coming, will be nice if it does, but haven't hear anything from them.

I looked at my order yesterday and it had an expected delivery date of 1st January, just looked again and it doesn't have a date again.
Surely if they are not coming they should manually contact people if they know the 'system' isn't working. I used a gift voucher so I have paid already.

Gah! I ordered this and they charged my credit card straight away. I can't see my orders on the mobile site, so I'll have to log in at home on the laptop to check.

I've been looking forward to my riches skirt arriving.

I ordered it too and have been going to the gym and have since lost two dress sizes.. If they do cancel my order, it will probably be a good thing🙄

I've just had an email to say that one of the skirts I ordered absolutely ages ago has been dispatched! and the second one I ordered is due for dispatch on the 27th November

I ordered a black size 12 in September on 11 week back order. I was certain that the £19.75 had been debited my account recently and therefore the skirt would be on its way at some point. However, I've just checked my bank account and can't see the debit anymore and also there are no open orders showing in my account on the Boden website. It's just disappeared!

I've had my order fulfilled. I prefer it looser, but am quite hippy

I've just had an email to say my order has been dispatched, so I guess I'm getting mine. I will find out soon if it fits well.

Completely off topic but for those who lost so much weight between ordering and getting this skirt (2mths?), how did you do it? Very serious question - you guys have done what I need to do.

I ordered in September and it arrived today. I'm a size 10-12 and the 12 fit fits beautifully. It's very fitted but stretchy. I think it depends on your body shape too. I have a bit of a belly and a flat arse but I think it might be a bit loose if you are a proper size 10 with a flat tummy.

Hope it fits OP. I'm pleased with mine and I haven't worn a skirt in decades.

Mine arrived yesterday! Size 10 (I'm 10-12) and it's snug and wondrous. I got long and it's at my knee.

Mine came yesterday. I'm a size 6-8 but went for the 8 (regular length).

If anything it's a bit too loose on the waist. Seems to be cut quite straight up and down so doesn't suit my figure (waist much smaller than hips). It's also quite long (I'm 5"7 and it goes too my knees even if I scrunch it up a bit).

I only paid a tenner for it as I had a voucher so I'm happy enough for a tenner but would be sending it back if I'd paid full price.

I got mine yesterday. The size 12 fits fine, but I am still a 12 atm anyway. I think it will still fit when I lose more weight, although it will probably be a bit big on the waist. Like a pp my waist is a lot smaller than my hips.

I do really like it though, and I'm looking forward to wearing it to work next week. Although I'm trying to decide what to wear with it.
