No motivation to put on makeup.

Hey everyone,

How do you all find the motivation to get ready on a morning?

I have totally lost motivation to put my makeup on. I have gotten into the habit of just going makeup free everytime I go anywhere and it makes me feel crap. I find it a chore.

My daughters nineteen and has the same sort of issues at her period and round her hairline down the side of her face.

Go without make up during those times and don't mess with it too much, honestly just makes it worse.

I think uou are using the wrong make up, try a bb cream and go to a department store, someplace like the mac counter and ask what they recommend, something light and dewy is probably required. Have them do a make up demo on you,

I went to a No.7 counter at a big Boots on the weekend and the lady was really nice and helpful. Left with a primer, foundation, powder, and bronzer. It looked lovely on but I've been too anxious to even try and apply it all myself since. Blush And it looked lovely and natural too, just helped to tone down the redness and stuff of my acne, I felt 10000% more confident that day. I need to bite the bullet and sit down when I'm not pressured for time and have a few goes until I feel confident. But I would definitely recommend No.7, I had a great experience there.

I googled 'beauty blender' and it looks like an egg!! Do you use it for every product, or a different one for each product? I don't think I quite understand it Confused

Might try the no7 counter for a tinted moisturiser. There's always money off no7 vouchers I get and end up giving them away.

I've got a 3 beauty blenders and a real techniques sponge as I used to use them for foundation when I wore it.

I prefer the beauty blender to the real techniques sponge as I find it softer and easier to use. You can use one beauty blender for everything you don't need more than one really.

Xx

Lancôme Benfait Teinte BB cream is very light, but also has pretty good coverage. Makes my skin look brighter as well. I hate putting on make up, but I look shit without a bit. I wear that, mascara, blusher, concealer under eyes and a bit of eyebrow pencil.
