I hate shopping for jeans.

I was a big fan of the Next relaxed skinnies until they changed them and the fit went funny, my last pair of the old style ones has given up the ghost. Have had some success with M&S skinnies but they now only seem to hhave super skinny and my calves are a bit chunky to be that skinny.

I'm a size 16, 5ft 8, I like to be able to turn them up with ankle boots.

I want stretchy but not so stretchy they go abby after ten minutes.

Not jeggings - too sretchy and material too this would prefer nearer to denim.

Any ideas? I have looked in all the usuual places.

Budget - don't care if they fit and look good!

Thank you.

French Connection rebound skinny jeans. Lots of colours. Stretchy but not skimpy. Not too tight on calves. Get your usual size. These are the only jeans I can wear without a belt and I love them. £69.

Gap are surprisingly good for jeans!

Zara high waisted - they go up to a size 16, are really comfy and are unhemmed so you can fold or take them up to your specifications.

Second vote for Gap, nice range of fits. I have some nice stretchy skinnies which are nice and soft but look like proper jeans rather than jeggings.

I'm addicted to buying skinny jeans from Jack Wills at the moment, some are v stretchy (I ride in them sometimes and they don't lose their shape) and they are in easy to understand sizes (waist, leg length) also Hollister.

Jigsaw Richmond skinny jeans are superb. They sit nicely on my waist, not too high or low. Tight enough to be skinny but not like jeggings, as in, not too stretchy. And definitely denim.
I have 3 pairs.
My calves are pretty chunky too.

Thanks all. Fairly sure jack wills and Hollister don't go up to a 16, will have a look at gap and Zara.

Have you tried the Next ones again? I got a new pair recently and they are much better again.
