I really want to get my colours done- can anyone advise where will do this? I want to find out which colours suit my skin tone- so makeup mainly, but clothes also. I'm in London.

House of Colour will have a consultant near you.

angelpuffs · 01/11/2016 20:23

Thanks! Do they come to your house?

No, mine had a garden studio set up with lots of natural light and all her scarves and so on.

Had mine done in John Lewis yesterday!

Agatha- I called John Lewis yesterday and spoke to someone several times but she couldn't seem to get the concept of what I was asking for and kept trying to put me through to a beauty counter! Can you tell me how much it cost and what service you asked for? Was it in London? If so which store? Thanks Confused

Def go into store or book online. If you book online someone will ring you if you put in the comments you need a phone call too.

The personal shopping is free! The colours is £125 or free if you spend £500+

Thanks Smile
Did they tell you what "season" you were? Was it what you were expecting?

I used House of Colour years ago, was good. They did tell me a season but it's also more personalised than that - for instance I now know I suit "high contrast" colour combinations! They don't "tell" you your colours, you sort of work it out with them.

HoC did my colours (and trained me how to see the differences in what I looked like in different colours) but then I also went back for a style day and now understand much better what shapes suit me (necklines, hemlines, etc). I know the John Lewis personal shopping has been great for some people but I didn't know they did colours too!

AgathaMystery · 02/11/2016 19:07

They did (winter)! I posted a review yesterday.

angelpuffs · 02/11/2016 19:13

Where's your review? Were you surprised by the season they gave you? Do you think it will change what colours you wear?

I don't know how to search on here TBH. I posted it in S&B though.

It will def change colours i wear - I wouldn't have touched purple for instance. Or teal. Or any jewel tones really. It will change the shapes I wear too. Just today I've sent back a load of clothes. And I mean £300+ I'd ordered online. Confused

My colours were completely unexpected and changed my wardrobe completely.
