If I was going out I'd wear :

Black just below the knee belted pencil skirt
Tucked in slash neck black top, 3/4 sleeves
Either pink or leopard print heels
Silver necklace, couple of silver bangles

I'm in Boden pyjamas that are snuggly but not flattering. If I was out I might wear my black cord pinafore except I'm having a crisis that I look too old in it (am 45, it's flattering for my shape- I think- but feels weird), or my gap flares that I think look flattering but haven't worn yet and would need mega heels.

I wish I could wear skinnier but they look awful on me (and biker jackets don't look great either, my sartorial ambitions are often thwarted by my stumpy legs!)

If I was going out, I'd wear
black velvet midi length slip dress with almost indecent split flashing my thighs
black suede ankle boots, or black Gazelles
probably a faux fur coat.
