I'm 8-10. Small on me is sometimes a bit small! Think their sizes are made with teenagers in mind.

A little small. I'm a 6 in Next and M&S but a Small or 8 in Hollister (6 and XS are very small) and even in the S/8 size the upper arms are a bit snug.
