I have a pair of Merrill boots and they've finally got holes in the soles after about 5 years of nonstop winter wear. I've even walked to and from work for a week in the snow in them.

Really impressed and will buy another pair. Mine have a lovely warm lining in too, so feet are always toasty warm.

This will be my third year with the decora chants. They really are fab.

I have just bought the chant ones. Worn them half a dozen times so far and so far I like them. Not worn them in very bad weather yet though.

I have the Captiva buckle ups (faux buckle). They amazing. So robust. I will be buying another pair when these collapse.

I have the captiva buckle down, never been able to work out the difference to the buckle up! They're waterproof in wet grass and mud but the zip does let in a little water if you stand in a see puddle (I've only discovered this through testing but mentioning it in case that's what you're after)

I love that they look good enough to wear every day, nobody ever guesses they're gore tex lined!

I've got the Captiva buckle downs and they are fab. Never tested them in a deep puddle but have worn them in snow and my feet were still toasty warm. They're very comfy and are my best boots ever.
