Asos jumpsuit - petites - honest opinions please!

Thinking of buying this www.asos.com/asos-petite/asos-petite-glam-embellished-peg-leg-jumpsuit/prd/7027165?iid=7027165 jumpsuit for a Xmas party in Dec. I'm 5ft nothing and size 10 (but pearshaped). Do you think this is too much of a child romper suit? Or elegant and sexy?

Not sure. Are your boobs spectacularly pert and you don't mind your nipples showing as I don't think a bra would look good? Think it's a try on and see.

I think a plain black bra or one of those with a strappy back would look fine with it. But I'm a 90s girl when chiffon tops and a wonderbra were standard going out clothes

Ah I see what you mean Haggis. I definitely need a bra (if only to give me boobs!). I wonder if I can hide my bra under a spaghetti strap black or nude vest? I like the detail on this jumpsuit, a bit unusual.

I'm afraid I don't like that the pattern continues down the leg.
I like it from the back though. If you don't have to wear a bra then I'd say a sheer or no back garment (maybe keep looking around) would be great. Better not to clutter with nude vest, straps if you don't have to.

I don't think it flatters the model. And if it doesn't flatter her it's unlikely to flatter us mere mortals! So I'd say no. I think most people look dreadful in jumpsuits though, esp from behind, so don't mind me!

I quite like it and hasn't the model got a black bra on under it. I say order it and see OP. I'm very much a person that likes to dress up when going out and this ticks the work Xmas party box to me!

The overall effect is lovely but you would need to try it on. There would be too much material on the top half to suit me (big boobs) but if you are petite it might suit you.

I don't like it personally, but it certainly doesn't look like a romper suit. I'd try it if you like it.

I think it's quite unusual, and I would worry that it was wearing me. But simple hair and immaculate makeup with a red lip would look good. I think it looks a bit like a sari/Indiana style outfit.

Hello! Unfortunately not very well. It did fit ok in a size 10 but the crotch seemed quite low! I think the outfit us meant to be worn loosely with heals but I felt too much of a covered up Christmas tree head to toe and it seemed to shorten me. The embroidery was impressive for its price point. A shame!!

Umm. It looks great on the top but you are right the bottom looks a bit MC Hammer!

Petites! This one is just fabulous and is very flattering. Highly recommended. Just got this as a replacement and I feel glamorous in it. The fabric is on the cheap side unfortunately but for the bargain price the cut is very very good. I shall post a pic later!! Im on a mobile so can't link the url below but take a look!
