What trousers do you wear other than jeans?

For general day-to-day casual, not work.

And what shoes do you wear with them?

I have some nice relaxed floral cotton trousers I bought from Monsoon.

But nothing else...

My mum has some nice fine cords I think GAP and Unilqlo which are relaxed skinny and in navy, grey etc. they're actually something I'd think of getting one of.

Oh actually I do wear leggings. And I've got some black cargo trousers (nylony fabric) with sort of cargo hardware in black and khaki but think charity shopped the Khaki. They're from River island but they seem to have different fabrics. In fact on a whim I bought some patterned ones (bright blue with black abstract pattern etc) then thought eurgh no ebayed them and they sold really well for their original price!

By cargo hardware I mean cargo pants so the zips and ties but in metal.

Zara have nice casual trousers.

I rarely wear casual trousers as I find it hard to find any that fit and flatter. I wore some stretchy cotton, narrow leg, 7/8s from H&M through the summer and I'd planned to bridge the gap with ankle boots once it got colder. But now the time has come, I've lost my nerve

I've also dug out some lush, dark grey velvet wide legs that I bought 20 years ago in Next of all places! I wouldn't call them casual but I've worn them with silvery grey brogues and grey V neck jumper and pretended to be Katherine Hepburn.

I wore a pair of skinny jeans for the first time ever yesterday! My legs look like parsnips but not as bad as I thought they'd be. Asda wonderfit-they are like pyjamas-so comfy!

Oh yes buck those Asda Wonderfit jeans are a DREAM. The M&S 5 pocket jegging are a good substitute too - the Wonderfit always seem sold out in my size! I have a navy blue and black pair.

I keep seeing how lovely this model looks in these joggers from Hush, and then I realise they are joggers with heels and I cant compute that. It does look so comfortable though. I'm almost tempted to try it...

I'm still a skinny jean fan, mostly wear grey, black, blue.

Leggings! Usually black. Although only under like long tunic dress-style tops. I also have a pair of smart black & white dogtooth patterned vintage shorts that I'm wearing with opaque tights too.

I have some lovely dogtooth check cigarette pant style trousers that are around ankle length and I have worn them a lot this year.
