Are quite honestly the most gorgeous shoes I've seen in ages Blush but I'm a size16 and 40 so be honest - too fat and/or too old?

Thinking skirt, black opaques etc?? Or would that be horrific? Can you tell I'm a bit lost!

Go for it! I wouldn't think you were ever too old/young for that sort of shoe they're a pretty classic style (I'm 23 and my aunt (60+ has a pair not unsimilar). As for your size, who cares? They are shoes not anything revealing and even if they were whatever you are comfortable and confident in is what you should wear.

Buy them, rock them and know you look great as long as there is a smile on your face and confidence in your walk!

myheadsamess · 28/10/2016 01:02

Och thank you, you sound fab, I wish I had your confidence!

Don't see why not. Give it a whirl.

CrazyGreyhoundLady · 28/10/2016 04:07

I wish I found confidence easy but I'm working hard on it. I've found its easier to be confident in clothes I like than in what others think I should wear, hence why I think its so important for people to wear what they are comfortable and confident in!

ComputerDog · 28/10/2016 09:48

I think they're great and would suit anyone really. Go for it.

ConkerTriumphant · 28/10/2016 09:58

Why won't the link work for me?

DrScholl · 28/10/2016 09:59

they are red lace up shoes
whats the big deal?

myheadsamess · 28/10/2016 20:08

The big deal Dr is that I'm no longer a young, fashionable devil may care girl who wouldn't mind if no one else liked what I was wearing. Nor do I want to look like mutton dressed as lamb Hmm

Dont you ever question whether you can/should wear something?

I love them, but I seem to be attracted to anything red. I am 40 on Sunday and a size 12. I literally wear whatever I like. I would wear them with a short a line mini skirt and tights, (both black) and a nice red top and possibly a black leather jacket (Also a lovely red lippie) Go for it.

Hobbes8 · 28/10/2016 20:14

I'm a size 16 and I'm 39 and I have the Clarks brogues in several colours, including a fabulous shiny pewter. I hate wearing heels so smart flat shoes for work are the holy grail for me.

These are fab! I'm quite tempted.

myheadsamess · 28/10/2016 20:21

Woohoo ok you've all convinced me! Will buySmile

OP posts:
myheadsamess · 28/10/2016 20:58

Calamity that's exactly the kind of outfit I'm thinking of!

Could I wear these? If so what with?!
