Can anyone tell me where or what to search for to get socks that look good enough to wear just over ankle boots like the photos please?

Tried hiking / thick sock search but just get more manly looking ones..

Bought a couple of pairs at M&S last winter. Also saw some nice grey ones at fat face.

I second fat face.

Just search knee high wool socks

lostscot · 27/10/2016 21:46

Tesco had some, they were labelled boot socks.

OhFuckOff · 30/10/2016 08:38

Are they in the women's sock section?

If you have the phone app Wish you can buy many things, amongst which are these amazing crotched/knitted 'bands' with little decorative buttons on them which you put on your legs to wear with ankle or knee high boots.... they are beautiful and create a false sock poking out over top of boots but without you needing the foot part so you can still wear normal thickness socks. I have three pairs in different colours and just adore them!!

I buy bamboo socks. They do a boot type sock which is soft and ribbed. I bought a few pairs from tk maxx recently.
