I can hazard a guess about the bad feeling. She was visibly annoyed when Andrew & Jane were doing well tonight (assuming fair editing). I thought she came across as ungenerous and unBritishly competitive tonight.

Oh interesting Jed, I really didn't think she looked annoyed - more anxious/nervous. I thought she has always seemed genuine, pleased for others when they do well, and perhaps a little self-conscious.

Not a huge fan of the bright lipstick (although each to their own) but the dress was fab. Her hair always is too.

To be fair, it is a competition. I thought that Jane could have been unfairly edited as well- camera constantly focused on her reactions during Candice's showstopper?

I didnt like that dress. I thought it made her upper arms look big. Not a fan.

Candice is stunning and a fab baker. I don't think she was moody at all when the others were doing well. I just thought she looked a bit anxious and fair enough really.

That said, I'm not a fan of her clothes and make up at all, but at least, as a pp said, it's not boring. I think she's one of those people who would make anything look good - I would look a fucking fright in that dress and make up.

I wonder if she'll get a bit of a style overhaul now she's won it or if they'll let her stay the same. Kind of hope she stays the same as, though it is 100% not.my.style. it clearly is hers.

It's dry clean only! Did she bake cakes whilst wearing it? She must be very rich! Or do you think they get a budget to buy clothes? If so, I might apply next year!

Well, she was in the final of the most watched show in the country - possibly she wanted to wear something a bit special. Wouldn't you want to look your best when 14 million people are watching you?

To be honest, I wouldn't! I think it's probably my upbringing though, I didn't spend that much on my wedding dress. But I'm probably too sensible to be worth watching on TV.
