Preferably not black and not Uggs. Please help me find my winter boots!

I've just bought these. I have a bad foot and find it very hard to find anything I like that doesn't hurt after walking any distance.

They are Doc Martens. A bit chunky but extremely comfy and hopefully durable for walking in the rain.

[http://www.shoeland.co.uk/Blundstone/?gclid=CNWz44yN-c8CFckaGwodUygFuQ Blundstone]] been wearing them for years, extremely hard wearing and comfy. Lots of colours now, especially in Ladies. Generous sizing, need to size down. The "half size" is the same length as the full size, but wider. I'm normally a good 8, wide fit where it exists (standard width often too narrow). but am a dainty 7.5 in Blundstone.

Gatherlygal I love those! Where did you get them please.

GatherlyGal · 27/10/2016 19:06

Tried them in a Doc Martens shop and then found cheaper on Amazon

Can't do an Amazon link for some reason.

Am loving them although DH has taken the piss about the size of them. Comfiness wins.

I know you said no uggs but I assume you mean the slouchy ones. I've just got these and they have sheepskin (or similar) insoles do are toasty warm. Nice and sturdy. Once I've waterproofed them I'll be living in them this winter

I have these from
clarks in the brown and black. Not furry inside but good thick material and I always feel toasty in them

FuckThatToOneSide · 27/10/2016 19:50

I really want these but can't afford them Sad.

I've just bought some Blundstone boots after months of dithering. Didn't size down as I wear thick socks in the winter.

Love them already. Stood outside at a skate park for hours in the biting wind a few days ago, and my feet were toasty.

Christina try them with sheepskin insoles too 😄

I discovered Blundstones about 25 years ago in an agricultural supplies shop. I have had a pair on the go ever since. Had about 4 pairs in that time, they last for ages.

Hubcapdiamondstarhalo · 28/10/2016 17:57

On the strength of some extremely comfortable sandals I had in the summer, I recently bought
these
a couple of weeks ago. I can't wear heels but the platform means it's not too much of a slope. Leather or suede and in a range of colours - warm and very comfy. Also got them cheaper on Amazon.

SwedishEdith · 28/10/2016 18:04

Are Blundstones just for jeans etc or can they work with skirts?

Swearwolf · 28/10/2016 18:38

I just bought these in brown, they're pretty comfy so far!

christinarossetti · 28/10/2016 19:56

Currently wearing Blundatone's with a dress and tights.

Good for anything.

BikeRunSki · 28/10/2016 21:05

I wear my Blundstones with everything. But I am not really a style god.
