Boot opinions please

Tried these on today and quite liked them but didn't buy (perhaps because I ordered a black pair in another style a couple of days ago). What does anyone think?

Hmmm 20% off today. Good thing I didn't buy yesterday!

Just the other day similar boots were lambasted as 'the mum boot'. A low, chunky heel was deemed too 'safe' and frumpy. So why is this not 'a mum boot'?

Ketsby - I have no idea why they're not 'mum boots' but surely we should buy boots we like and which we find comfortable? And yes, which are fashionable if we're that way inclined! Would these pass as a slightly trendier mum boot then, I wonder?

I really don't get all this 'mum boots' bollox. If you like the boots wear them. Why does the opinion of a bunch of people on the Internet matter? Not having a go at you OP but there's been a lot of these threads lately .

I would say they are not 'mum boots' as they don't have a middle aged air about them. To me mum boots are just a bit meh.
