I have very sensitive reactive skin and have used the moisturiser and eye cream and found them really good. Calming and moisturising and soothing and helped with angry redness. I think it's just a good range if you have skin that is a bit 'touchy'!

Hi,

I'm 33, finally have PCOS type acne/rosacea under control.

I have used the cleanser in this range - the cream type one you wipe off with cotton wool. It's called "dermo-cleanser". Really good value for money.

The riche soothing protecting cream is also good for PM use.

As per a lot of skincare, It's not so much that it will DO anything positive to your skin. It's more that it DOESNT aggravate it.

It's brilliant in conjunction with prescription creams if required from your GP.

I have switched to Avene products and slightly prefer them overall to LRP.

Call me a geek but I keep a note of each product I try and write down my opinion as if I were writing for a magazine. Just because (esp for Avene and LRP) there are so many variations eg the same product will come in a riche or light version and it's a bugger if you can't remember which one you prefer!

Thanks for your replies so far, I have tried a lot of avene products and my skin disliked them all including the range for allergic skin etc. I have heard if u dislike avene then u will like lrp and vice versa but not sure how true this is....

That might be true, I especially don't like LRP SPF moisturisers.

You're on the right track tho, OP. :-)

I don't like most Avene products, and do like a lot of LRP products (though some have tons of unnecessary perfume in, which stinks and irritates my skin). I also like the Toleraine dermo cleanser, though I rinse it off.

LRP often give free samples away on FB/their website, and in most decent Boots stores - just ask a skincare Boots rep.
