Anyone found any really warm wellies for kids?!

I'm looking for some reasonably priced wellies for children that have to be warm! I'm tired of buying hunters, joules etc that are so so cold!

Can anyone recommend any brands with links to websites if possible!

I just buy snowboot type things. Nice and cosy and you don't need any snow to wear them.

museumum · 24/10/2016 16:59

Jojo snowboots are great for all uses except actual paddling (yes ds, looking at you!!)

Here they are - DD buys them for her sons.

Decathlon sell amazingly warm wellies at a very reasonable price.

Normal wellies, large enough for two warm pairs of socks?

Pestilence13610 · 24/10/2016 17:13

neoprene wellies are warm

SpeckledyBanana · 24/10/2016 17:15

Lidl have some lined ones in at the mo. They have lights in the heels. DS was gutted they didn't go up to his size.

SisterViktorine · 24/10/2016 17:20

DS has some Jack Wolfskin snowboots this year. They are lovely, and obviously really comfy as he opts to wear them a lot (he doesn't like wellies).

Giratina · 24/10/2016 17:21

I second the lidl ones. I've bought them for DD for 3 years running now, she loves them.

WellTidy · 24/10/2016 17:23

I used to buy jojo snow boots for DS until he grew too big for their sizing. Now buy him snow boots from mountain warehouse in a size too big, so that they last two winters. They are superb.

BombadierFritz · 24/10/2016 17:26

snowboots are so much better. just get ones that are rubber as high up as possible. otherwise we got quite good lined ones at aldi last year

citymum123 · 24/10/2016 17:26

I've just bought some Warm Wellies too! www.warmwellies.com - they even have matching adult ones too! Sign up to their mailing list and they often do discounts. Plus, they're really reasonable and won't feel like you're spending a fortune when your children outgrow them!

These snow boots are fab instead of wellies

GeoffTheRef · 24/10/2016 17:30

Lidl ones are awesome my DD loves hers and when she takes them off her feet are toasty.

Fuzzypeggy · 24/10/2016 18:49

Decathlon, they have warm removable liners, perfect

Antsinpants · 24/10/2016 18:55

Use welly liner socks- warm and cosy xx

claptomania · 24/10/2016 19:32

These are fleece lined and fab. We buy a pair every time DS goes up a shoe size! www.spottyotter.co.uk/en/shop/accessories/adventure-kids-fleece-lined-wellies

I buy wellies and then put sheepskin liners in - off amazon and cheap. Makes a big difference.
