HoF personal shopper

I need a new coat, plus some other basic bits (jeans, tshirts, underwear, maybe some new boots). I live in a small town with just a few small shops. I don't really have much time to go further afield to shop for myself, so I normally just buy stuff online, but, I think a decent coat is something I definitely want to try on and shop around for. It wouldn't hurt for me to try on some jeans as well for once tbh.

I was thinking of going to a personal shopper at HoF. I know they say no obligation to buy, but I am weak under any sort of pressure from sales people and I'm a bit worried I might end up spending a small fortune on things I might not end up wearing.

Has anyone done it before? Just wondering what it's like and if anyone hasn't any tips.

Not much to say, but my MIL recently used HoF personal shopper - she was very pleased with the outcome (wedding guest outfit, early 60s customer) and said there was genuinely no pressure to buy from the consultant, who told her "I get paid no matter if you buy or not".

Though surely there must be commission on purchases!?

If you feel irresistible pressure to buy and regret it later, just return the items
